IIT Delhi: A Modernist Case Study
Book Design for a two-person exhibition by Madan Mahatta and Randhir Singh exploring the role of the photographer in relationship to architecture, history and time.
Designed by J.K. Chowdhury and Gulzar Singh, IIT Delhi (1961–1968) was a critical milestone for early capital modernism. This publication design bridges six decades of architectural history, charting a visual dialogue between Mahatta’s heroic original photography and Singh’s contemporary focus on structural materiality and daily habitation.
